The Regional Automation Consortium

TRAC (The Regional Automation Consortium) is a partnership of Marigold Library System, Northern Lights Library System, Peace Library System, Yellowhead Regional Library, and their member libraries.

Governed by the TRAC society, TRAC connects over 180 libraries and hundreds of thousands of Albertans to holdings of nearly three million books, magazines and movies. In addition to a shared library catalogue, the TRAC society offers member libraries services and resources such as eResources, training, shared procedures and best practices to facilitates access to one of the largest consortia collections in Canada.

Yellowhead Regional Library serves as central site for the TRAC Society. As central site, YRL houses and secures TRAC network equipment, conducts regular maintenance for the Integrated Library System (ILS), and provides after-hours emergency support for all TRAC libraries.  

 

Member libraries can access the TRAC library catalogue (TRACpac) by visiting www.tracpac.ab.ca or by downloading the TRACpac app.
