ME Libraries
ME Libraries is an initiative by the Public Library Services Branch of Alberta Municipal Affairs that allows library patrons from other parts of the province to join your library.
- ME automates the checking of good standing — no need for staff to call the home library.
- ME allows the patron to self-mediate when and which libraries they join.
- ME lets the patron use their home library card and PIN.
Patrons simply go to www.melibraries.ca to sign up for the library of their choice.

TAL
The Alberta Library (TAL) is a province-wide consortium serving over 300 locations across the province, including public libraries, regional library systems, university libraries, college and technical institute libraries and special libraries. As a member of a YRL, your library patrons can get a TAL Card, which allows them to borrow from an academic or special library within Alberta and return them at any participating TAL library.
