After Hours Emergency Support

Technology doesn't punch a time clock, so there is a Desktop and Network Administrator on call to assist when you experience critical service outages outside of normal work hours. The after-hours emergency support number should only be called if the problem encountered results in a library being unable to carry out critical functions, defined as:

    • Login to Polaris
    • Check out/in
    • Patron registration
    • TRACpac searching

A problem with a single item (e.g., locked record) does not constitute an emergency. This should be directed to YRL staff to be resolved the next business day. 

How to access after-hours emergency support
    1. Call us at 1-877-452-8722.
    2. Leave a message, including your name, phone number, library and a brief description of the problem. 
    3. YRL support staff will call you back. 

Service is available: 

Monday through Thursday  4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
